Surprisingly this kit was only my third Star Was build. A birthday present build and I needed to watch the Return of the Jedi again anyway.
Cloning a 1966 Beetle. Putting a lot of love into making a replica of a classic bug.
Made the original truck but was not a completely buildable kit, so I decided jump into something else. This is the results of combining a unbuildable kit and the junk parts bin.
This kit was built to resemble a friend's actual car. I had a few photos to work with and did my best to capture the details of his specific car. This was a surprise and greatly recieved.
The moment I dropped an old Sherman build, I knew what I wanted to do!. Many weathering techniques used to get the final results and a moment in time. - "The Bulge".
My first try at a full diorama. This was something I wanted to do after building the original model. Learned alot from my mistakes and looking forward to building another one.
Started with one idea, ended up with another. Built this one for a Father's day gift. The details were alot of fun. The motor was one of my favorites. I really liked the various elements in this truck.
After a few builds with some extreme weathering I wanted to take the leap and complete this kit. This was a test bed for various techniques and ideas. Really happy with the results.
This one is for me. Eventually the Ecto-1 will be part of a diorama. Thinking of a parking garge where it has been sitting since '89.
In the 1997 season, Mercedes-Benz in cooperation with AMG entered GT racing and competed in the FIA GT championship. The CLK-GTR developed for this purpose was the first production racing car from Mercedes-Benz with a mid-engine.
Tamiya never dissapoints. Fun little Jeep to build. A lot of fine painting but nothing too dramitic. Only minimal weathering on this one as it eventually will be used in a diorama.
